3rd Infantry Division: Rock of the Marne

Whether you are in uniform or a family member you will have a satisfying and fulfilling tour here with the Marne Division.

The mission is challenging, we are not called the "Marne Express" for nothing, but you will find that the rewards are great - we are based in a beautiful part of the country, and our neighbors in Hinesville, Liberty County, and the Coastal Empire are better than anyone you could ask for.

We enjoy a great relationship with the city of Hinesville, which is our closest neighbor, and Savannah is only a 40-minute ride from post.

In this area of Coastal Georgia you will find that historical, cultural, and recreational opportunities abound, and Atlanta and Jacksonville, Fla. are within a couple hours drive. It will be well worth your time to take in what the local community has to offer during your tour here.
